  2. Salaam, Rosanne:
actually, about that OU thing, well, you see, it’s like… how shall i say this? umm… OU is nice, you know, but… well, it’s not that i want OU to lose… it’s just that i want boise state to win… by a LOT… lol…

Comment by jworld | Monday, January 1, 2007

  3. Salaam, T. Junaid

Well well.. are you trying to say in a NICE way you want OU to lose? Well I don’t want to be mean or anything, but I HOPE that boise state loses. Man, did it feel good to say that. lol…

Comment by Victoria | Monday, January 1, 2007

  4. Salaam, Victoria:

i think you’re only for OU because you think boys have cooties. i mean, would you really be against boise state if it was called girlie state? (if that wasn’t funny, it was Khalid’s joke. it if was funny, i came up with it.)

Comment by jworld | Tuesday, January 2, 2007

  5. lol… That is so funny! cooties..
T.Junaid do you mind if you put some OU things, and not just boise state. Thanks..
You know they just lost by 1 point, and it was over time.

Comment by Victoria | Tuesday, January 2, 2007

  6. Salaam, Victoria:

true, it was only a 1-point game, and so one could argue that both teams are pretty much equal in ability and all. especially since the game did go into overtime, like you mentioned.
btw, did you see my new avatar?

  10. so i guess the MLK thing is cancelled 😦

    Comment by Iman A. | Saturday, January 13, 2007

  11. yup… that’s a bummer… so many people did so much preparation for a good cause, and, well, it’s all for naught. luckily, though, even though our 8th Grade Scholars were putting together something for monday about malcolm x and mlk, jr., we could still use the stuff we’ve done to share with the rest of the school. and also, next month is black history month, so that will be appropriate then, too. (i’m just trying to make the best of a not-so-great situation…) like they say, expect the unexpected… but we do want to thank all Alumni for offering to share their time with us this monday. that’s really nice of you all.

Comment by jworld | Sunday, January 14, 2007

  12. You’re Welcome! too bad it’s cancelled, i was looking forward to it!

    Comment by Iman A. | Sunday, January 14, 2007

  13. yeah. i figured it would be a socializing opportunity for everyone. i mean, we just kind of had to stand there at the booths and say “nice to meet you, ma’am,” or, “good day, sir!” but alas, ’twas not to be…

Comment by jworld | Sunday, January 14, 2007

  14. Hey i like the green layout of your blog! Green is one of my favorite colors!=)

Comment by Iman | Sunday, January 14, 2007

  15. the grinch who stole christmas was green. omg. and you like green? how could you, Iman! the humanity! lol! (btw, have you seen that movie? the issue of christmas aside, it was a pretty enjoyable movie. it’s one of my favorites. you should check it out. if anything, you’ll enjoy it because whenever the grinch is on the screen, he’s green, and not mean, and — okay, i was gonna continue the rhyme, but i couldn’t come up with anything. ugh. in any case, yeah, it’s a cool movie. oh, and i almost forgot to close my parentheses. here, let me do it now: ). good. done.

Comment by jworld | Sunday, January 14, 2007

  16. i haven’t seen the whole “Grinch” movie, i’ve only seen parts of it. i can’t really judge on how good it is from the parts i’ve seen. but i’ll try to watch the whole thing some time!
and gosh not only bad things like the grinch are green!lol. grass, trees, emeralds, peridots(thats my birthstone!!!),and mint chocolate-chip ice-cream are all green and they’re all good things!perception, percepton!lol!=p

Comment by Iman | Sunday, January 14, 2007

  17. how come you didn’t mention that spinach is green? or green peas? i mean, come on, who really likes green peas? see, you’re just giving one side of the story, Iman. it’s like the media: always trying to tell us what to believe. gosh… and here’s the ace up my sleeve, to convince you that green isn’t all that nice: the 7th grade *science* textbook, science voyages, is green. so if green is good, are you saying that science is good, too? i mean, could you really support that line of reasoning? (you can tell i’ve put some serious thought into this, right? lol!) i bet right now you’re saying, “man, i KNOW you ain’t talkin’ to ME!” lol!

Comment by jworld | Sunday, January 14, 2007

  18. Thats right!….Man i know u aint talkin to me!lol.
and for ur info, yes i think science is good!lol. but i have to admit i dislike green peas with a passion!lol ok, so i dont like peas or spinach, but there are some good green things like green apples and artichokes! ok so there r good and bad green things, call it even?!lol.=p

Comment by Iman | Sunday, January 14, 2007

  19. call it even? no. i wanna take this outside… wait… never mind, it’s too cold. you win. green rulz. lol! (but i’ll keep the color of this blog green for at least another day, just because you like the color. otherwise, i was planning on changing the colors every day.)

Comment by jworld | Sunday, January 14, 2007

  20. aww! how sweet! it was so gentleman-like of u to let me win and to keep the blog green for an extra day!!

“u wanna take this outside” hehe!lol remember the day i was doing tae kwon do at mercy shool last week?lol=O

Comment by Iman | Sunday, January 14, 2007

  21. yeah. hmm… speaking of taekwondo, did you see the first “ice age” movie, where they go, “tae-kwon-do-do birds!” or something like that? hilarious!

Comment by jworld | Monday, January 15, 2007

  22. yea thats too funny! i love that movie!=b

Comment by Iman | Monday, January 15, 2007

  23. i have yet to see “ice age 2,” though. have u seen it? good or bad?

Comment by jworld | Monday, January 15, 2007

  24. hey,
ok, i just saw this thing and i thought it was cute!
u know frosted mini wheats the cereal? well theres one with white frosting and one with strawberry frosting. the white one says to the pink one:”Dude, ever heard of sunscreen?” and the pink one says” I’m strawberry, wise guy. You ever heard of sun?” hehe! i luv that!lol=p

Comment by Iman | Monday, January 15, 2007

  25. that’s hilarious! i didn’t get it the first time i read it, maybe cuz i got hungry reading what you wrote, cuz i love them frosted mini wheats! but the pink one thinks the white one’s an albino, and the white one thinks the pink one is sunburned. am i right? also, did you see this as a commercial on tv, or is it on youtube or somewhere, where i can also see it? also (this is “also number 2”), i saw the entire video of the “little mosque on the prairie.” i actually downloaded it to my ipod video, and it took me two days to watch the whole thing, but i finally did watch it. and it was hilarious, with a capital h! thanks for the link! i initially was scared of it, because i’m scared of things that take more than a minute or so to watch, cuz i get restless and then i start throwing things in the house and then my parents have to tie me down and lock me in the basement. oh wait, my parents told me not to tell that to anyone. lol! okay, i’m not making *any* sense whatsoever, but yeah, usually i’m scared of longer video clips cuz they might get boring after a while, but i watched your thing in its entirety, and it was hilarious!

Comment by jworld | Monday, January 15, 2007

  26. yea thats right!lol. actually i saw it in an ad in a magazine, they had the picture of the frosted mini wheats talkin to each other!
i’m glad u liked “Little mosque on the prarie” i luved it 2! i thought it was funny!
hehe, so u have longvideophobia???lol! or anger management problems?! lol! =p

Comment by Iman | Monday, January 15, 2007

  27. speaking of anger management, i’ve been going to anger management classes for the last three months. but you know what? my anger management classes are *really* making me mad! lol!

Comment by jworld | Monday, January 15, 2007

  28. oh..well i guess they’re not working u shud so ask for a refund!lol

Comment by Iman | Monday, January 15, 2007

  29. i won’t just *ask* for a refund. i’ll *demand* a refund. i am MAD, with capital M, capital A, and capital D. i’m gonna go in there, scream out loud, yell at the people, accuse them of lying to me — no, wait, that’s a flashback i’m having of someone else. (hint, hint.)

Comment by jworld | Monday, January 15, 2007

  30. hehe! yea i pick up the hint! that’s funny! but be careful u dont want them to call the authorities!lol!=D

Comment by Iman | Tuesday, January 16, 2007

  31. lol! authorities? you mean like people who write books? lol!

Comment by jworld | Tuesday, January 16, 2007

  32. I think Iman should get the award for most post’s on JC’s blog besides JC….

Comment by American Muslim | Tuesday, January 16, 2007

  33. actually, for every comment someone writes on my blog, i send them a $5 check. it’s a virtual check, though, so it’s worth less than a penny. but that’s all i can afford. the cool thing is that i write comments, too, so i get a lot of $5 dollar bills, also… but wait… i think i fooled me-self! lol!

Comment by jworld | Tuesday, January 16, 2007

  34. u know i almost didnt get the whole thing about the *author*ities! hehe! and i graciously accept the award…or more like nomination..for the golden globe…wait…i mean..the most posts!lol!=D

Comment by Iman | Tuesday, January 16, 2007

  35. golden globe? i think you’re thinking about the golden girls. that’s that show on tv that’s kind of old. lol.
speaking of golden, and gold, and colors, do i have permission to change the color of my blog, IA? i think the green color is getting to me. i mean, i already wrote an entry about “jealousy” or envy (winning and losing in sports), and i think it’s the green color that’s affecting me. i mean, my blog is green, and it’s *my* blog, so i think that made *me* green (with envy)! woo-hoo! i slipped in an idiom! yes! (please, please, my english teacher from high school — *please* read this and change my grade from that D- you gave me. i mean, i’ve now showed that i know what an idiom is, right? that was the whole point about going to school, right? to learn stuff and use it? i’m willing to live with a solid D. seriously, i won’t tell anyone if you change my grade.)
    lol!

Comment by jworld | Tuesday, January 16, 2007

  36. i dont know no golden girls but i won a golden globe for best actress in Eragon(do u make the connection?the girlLOL!)

Comment by americanmuslim | Wednesday, January 17, 2007

  39. i’ll let Iman et al answer that question!

Comment by jworld | Wednesday, January 17, 2007

  40. u know what….im wondering the same thing… so i dont know! and who doesn’t like talking to me? thats a rhetorical question by the way(ohhhh…big word…huh?)lol!…but c that shows u just how loyal i am!lol!=D

Comment by Iman | Thursday, January 18, 2007

  41. rhetorical? you’re thinking of the word “historical.” (that explains why i got D’s in reading class. lol!)

Comment by jworld | Thursday, January 18, 2007

  42. haha! why u still up, dont u have a bed time?

Comment by Iman | Thursday, January 18, 2007

  43. my bed time was like 3 hours ago. but you know me: when the cat’s away, the mice will play! (in this case, the “cat” is a metaphor for my mom or dad! and i’m the mouse! ugh… bad metaphor, i know. lol!)

Comment by jworld | Thursday, January 18, 2007

  44. hehe! i’m too hyper to go to bed! im so happy we dont have skool!

Comment by Iman | Thursday, January 18, 2007

  45. yeah, that’s awesome about the school thing! i am pretty excited, too. isn’t this unbelievable, that we’ve had no school for so many days? i feel like it’s summer vacation — oh yeah, minus the snow, of course… lol!

Comment by jworld | Thursday, January 18, 2007

  46. Early to bed, early to rise they always say….

Comment by americanmuslim | Thursday, January 18, 2007

  47. that’s probably the best way to do things. my dad always starts his days really early. nowadays, in pakistan, he goes for golf right after fajr prayer. and i think he enjoys just watching nature and reflecting on the birds and trees and all, and, of course, how they are all signs of the Creator.

Comment by jworld | Thursday, January 18, 2007

  48. golf..in pakistan?! wow!lol!=b i was thinking more like cricket!lol!…

Comment by Iman | Thursday, January 18, 2007

  49. Dear IA:

where did you get the idea that there are CRICKETS and other insects in pakistan? it’s individuals like you who give pakistan a bad name… oh, and it’s also the CRICKETS that give pakistan a bad name. lol!

Comment by jworld | Thursday, January 18, 2007

  50. yay ur blog is purple! another one of my favorite colors!(well..actually i like lavender but its close enough!)=)

Comment by Iman | Thursday, January 18, 2007

  51. Dear Iman:

yeah, i like this purple color. it’s neat. it stands out. of course, the real reason i like purple is because barney is purple. but let’s keep that a secret. lol!

Comment by jworld | Thursday, January 18, 2007

  52. Ok… I uploaded an avatar… but it hasn’t appeared just yet….
